The ice skating trail is the longest in the US at ~4.3 miles around the lake. Not up for the distance? There are also small rinks in front. You can also snowshoe on the golf courses. It's a huge exhibition with incredible art, cool artists, good food, and live art demonstrations. It usually runs for the first 2 weeks of August every year at the Mt Sunapee Resort.
