Over 30 groups will be tabling at the fair covering the arts, athletics, outdoor recreation, volunteer opportunities, and more! It will be like a job fair, but for fun things. Read about the participants below-

  • Guided by the voices, experiences and solutions of those most impacted by the global climate crisis, the 350Vermont White River Node works at the intersections of climate change and social justice. We are building collective power for climate justice locally, in Vermont, and beyond.

  • The Alzheimer's Association leads the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care. Volunteers support fundraising efforts and provide education to raise awareness, reduce stigma and support community members grappling with Alzheimer's.

  • We are a community art center, with classes for kids, teens, and adults. We have many classes, community programs, exhibitions, and volunteer opportunities.

  • We are a non-profit farm and museum with over 100 years of history in Woodstock, VT. Volunteers on our site help the Education Department through pop-up programs and events. They help our Curatorial/Collections Department with cleaning artifacts and aid the farm with barn cleaning, cow grooming, and plenty of stall mucking. Also in our gardens.

  • CASA of NH trains and supports community volunteers to serve as advocates for children who have experienced abuse or neglect. CASA volunteers get to know a child and provide vital information to help a judge make decisions based on the best interests of the child. As a CASA volunteer you can truly change a child’s story.

  • COVER Home Repair is a non-profit based in White River Junction which provides urgent home repairs for low-income homeowners at no charge. We provide services like ramp construction, roof replacement, and home weatherization across the Upper Valley. We bring together homeowners and volunteers to complete these urgently needed home repair projects.

  • The Greater Upper Valley Chapter of Trout Unlimited’s mission is to protect, reconnect, restore, and sustain coldwater fisheries and their watersheds within our region. Chapter members meet regularly throughout the year, mixing food, fun and fishing with educational programs and conservation projects.

  • Volunteering with us is a great way to root yourself in a wonderful community of folks while feeling like you're making a difference. We have regular programs where our community volunteers provide support and accountability for individuals engaged with the criminal legal system. We also hold game nights, classes, and community discussions.

  • The Hartford Salamander Team reduces roadkill of local amphibians during their annual Spring migration, which so often brings them across busy roads and into the line of car traffic. We reduce driving on the key migration nights (the first rainy nights of Spring, where the temperature stays above 40degrees), and train volunteer crossing guards!

  • Volunteers are needed in LISTEN’s Food Pantry, Community Dining Hall, and Thrift Stores. Donating your time to LISTEN Community Servies and Thrift Stores is a powerful way to give back to the Upper Valley, learn more about social services and retail, and create community.   • The UVYP Film Club brings together film enthusiasts in the Upper Valley over their shared love of movies. In addition to catching the latest movies, club members also have the chance to hold private screenings of their favorite movies and receive special discounts from the Hopkins Center.   • The White River Natural Resources Conservation District is spearheading FARM FORCE, a movement to enhance agricultural resilience and food sovereignty. This initiative supports building stronger, self-sufficient agrarian economies and communities, preparing the next generation to help farmers farm.

  • Willing Hands is a hunger relief and food recovery organization based in Norwich, Vermont. Our staff and volunteers recover fresh food from donors, glean leftover produce from local farms, and grow produce in our gardens. We then deliver all of this food across the Upper Valley to our partner food shelves, shelters, and meal programs.

With their support, WISE is available every hour of every day. Our Ambassadors promote WISE visibility in the community. We offer training for all our volunteers.
