Health Care Forum to Answer Business Leaders’ Questions

Lebanon, New Hampshire – New Hampshire Businesses for Social Responsibility in partnership with Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) is presenting an Affordable Care Act (ACA) Forum to address the issues Upper Valley business leaders and consumers will face in the coming months as components of the ACA kick in. DHMC will host the forum, which is free to anyone interested in attending; however registration is required. The forum will be held on Tuesday, September 17th from 5:30 to 7:30 pm in Auditorium G on the Lebanon DHMC campus and will feature a panel of experts from around the state to provide answers and better understanding of what is required of businesses this fall.

The forum will be lead by an impressive panel of experts in the health care industry. It will feature panelists, Matthew Houde, Director of Government Relations at Dartmouth-Hitchcock, Karen Kelly, Community Organizer for Health Care and Small Business at NH Citizens Alliance, Tyler Brennan from the NH Department of Insurance and Robin Mackey, Chief Financial Officer at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. The presentation portion will focus on challenges being faced in the implementation, the components of the ACA relevant to NH business, the status of the Health Insurance Marketplace and the ACA components in New Hampshire and issues and relationships with providers. Attendees will be given the opportunity to ask questions of panel members.
